anyone do those online profile/blogs?

anyone use sites like friendster, findapic, or those online journal and blogs? what do you think about those sites?

i dont understand what you do in them?

I was doing the online journal thing for awhile and then I got bored with it and stopped posting. I also signed up for Friendster because a friend of mine invited me, but what's really sure what the point of it was.

i thought the purpose of the thing was to meet people. wierd people that is.

I thought only the cool people use it..........like Tora.....

I use Friendster.... But I keep turning down all invitations to people I don't know who wanna be on my buddy list...

I use Gaming Journals where we hate Blogs!

actually I think blogs are a good way to let people know how you are doing
without having to write tons of email. always wanted to write a blog on a
weekly or so basis. never got my site up and running though.

since the time I first heard of blogs, my opinion has changed a bit. I thing it's really
difficult to maintain a blog centered hp. it should be as easy for the casual visitor who
comes twice a year to quickly get an impression of what happened, as it has to
feature enough detail to make it an interesting read. besides, I don't think a blog
alone is enough to keep interest.

but I was never interested in the main blogger sites.

I like to write, so a blog is a natural curiousity to me. Like an online journal. Haven't been updating it lately, tho. Put anything in it - movie and game reviews, rants, whatever. People put everything in them. I believe the most interesting blogs to read are those that showcase a range of opinions. I think you need to include your reader in your blog, tho. Don't focus on yourself solely. That's the difference between paper journals and blogs, in my opinion.
