ps2 rez inferior to the dc vers?

i just started playing it on the dc an it looks cleaner an when you warp to the next stage it looks awsome! the music is slighty diffrient too. what do you guys think?

Rez for DC is the *only* way to play Rez.


It still puts me into a trance when I play it.

Dim the lights, hook up the subwoofers and see you in a few hours... ;)

yes, Graphics/Sound are cleaner on PS2, and you are right, people are stubborn about the DC.

Some people are way too pro ps2 its startling. Im open to all platforms but whats obvious is obvious.

ya i dont know wtf all they hype is/was around rez. game was shit imho. cool concept but if i want to play a shallow, easy shooter while listening to shit techno music ill play tekken or something.

Rez is only better on DC if you use VGA. If you're just using S-VHS or RGB, it's better on the PS2.

End of story.

The PlayStation2 release is better, cleaner graphics and audio, and better lightning/effects (check motion blur in later levels)

Rez is better on PS2 in terms of FPS. It is noticeably smoother but sometimes it drops in FPS when you are fighting bosses and that kinda sucks. Aside from that, I don't notice too much difference between the 2 versions (maybe I am blind but I only played the DC version a few times).

Great game.

my thought exactly, especially about sound
and I hate Sony and Playstation, and consider DC my fave console ever

I think Rez is the only game ever released on both consoles, that is superior on its PS2 version

everything else:shmups(especially) and fighters are FAR better on DC
just look at Shikigami no Shiro 2, Gunbird 2 or Dead or Alive 2 to understand what I mean

As far as I've gathered from the shooter-thread Shikigami 2 is better on PS2...
