I need a free anti-spyware program, guys! The damn homepage on the comp has changed, the freaken 56k is even worse in its slowness. FUCKEN DAMNIT! Help my ass out.

Damnit, as soon as the url appers and the page goes up, my damn comp just closes the windows. Is their a possiblity that I'm being watched?

How do I reformat the computer? I am running win 98.

Ad-aware sucks ass.

Hijack this owns it for free.

People only use Ad-aware because they don't know what the fuck a registry
is.

Aztek, just restart in ms-dos and type "format C:" - then once it's done,
change your bios to boot from a cd-rom (or you could use a floppy if it's
not bootable...old computers :mad:) - insert the floppy or cd and boot
from windows...then just follow the directions - once you're done, eject
the cd and let it start from the HDD and you're good to go.

First off, thanks for helping me out on this man. I am REALLY pissed off now. My friend here says that he had windows 98 installed in the HD. So after I do the dos thing and then format c thing, can I just c:/win98 and should it start? Cause thats what it supposed to do.

basically, I dont have a disk or anything for win 98. Will i be able to reformat the comp, after the format c thing, it says that all data will be wiped. Could i retreive the windows 98 files installed there, after just fine?

You can't reformat without an operating system...otherwise,
you'd have a blank drive just sitting there. So, no...you need
to either find a copy of windows or download a copy of windows
and burn it to a cd.

Make sure you get a cd-key as well, you'll need that to install it.

P.S. Try Bit-torrent...suprnova.org - I'm sure they have windows
iso files.
