I have a Capcom Impress Japanese Cabinet with a 29" monitor (I have an SVC Chaos Jamma board in this thing... which is what makes it Neo-related. :) Not too long ago, the game starting flickering when bright colors were on the screen. White backgrounds or light colored backgrounds make the whole screen shake. I turned down the brightness and the monitor then seems to be fine but of course a bit dark on most games. Do you think a cap kit would be in order? Anyone know where I can buy a cap kit or tune-up kit for the monitor? I looked on www.therealbobroberts.com but couldn't match the monitor. The only things I could see inside that alluded to what type of monitor it is:

TOSHIBA
A68KJU96X02
9705
YS-70059

Thanks.

model number?

Still having problems with this thing. Anybody at least know the model number of this monitor? I can't find any of the numbers I see on it anywhere else on the net. :-(

I have one...but it's broke too

I am in the process of getting the monitor fix. While moving it, dropped it & no picture :oh_no: I wish you luck, they are a pain to fix.

Just to make sure, that name and number came from the monitor's chassis and not the tube itself, right?

I have the same problem on mine.

Mine is toshiba 9652 though.

The problem on mine is that the lower 1/8th of the screen flickers after about 25 mins of play. I have a friend who worked at chuckee cheese and he said it requires a cap kit. If I find out anything I will let you know.
