It's practically impossible to tell who's really at fault in any of these situations. You just never get the whole story.
I never thought I'd say this but...
Those Iraqis should've tried to kick those soldiers' asses. And then when those soldiers kill all of those Iraqis and then later on when good soldiers show up and the bad ones have to explain why they killed defenseless people people, they'll get court martialed.
Of course, those soldiers aren't representative of the majority of the military, so anybody who thinks it's this sort of shit that makes America evil and shit should realize that the majority of everything that happens there is good stuff.

Wy cant the iraqis just be happy, I mean I bet before the war you could steal all the wood in the world and you wouldnt get punished at all. Now look at the great coalition forces upholding the law, making sure people cannot steal wood.

I shit you not this is about the fifth time I've heard officially published instances of tankers crushing the cars of looters, and EVERY SINGLE TIME the claim afterward was that the owner was a taxi driver. It reminds me of on every episode of cops when they find drugs on somebody it's always "some guy gave it to me, i didn't know what it was" to save themselves immediate incrimination (in their minds). I know, not the same situation at all, but you get what I mean. Just the fact that the criminal always has the same exact excuse.
