A co -worker and I were discussing when FOX first debuted and they'd toss any wacky idea onto the air to see if it stuck. Most of em probablly didnt last 2 seasons...I think.

Beans Baxter - Adventues of a teenage spy (I think)

Parker Lewis Cant Lose - Blatant Ferris Beuller wannabe, but a good rip

True Colors - touted as the "Brady Bunch of a New Generation"..except it was *gasp* interracial!

Werewolf - All I could remember was the wolf running in slo mo.

Get A Life - A GENIUS piece of insanity.

Second Chance - A Mattew Perry show in which I *think* he had to earn his wings to get into heaven or some other crap.

Remember any of these (mostly hideous) shows or can add to the list?

The Tracy Ulman Show (spelling on that last name?) the simpsons premiered on it (they were really REALLY strange back then).

And the obvious Married with Children and In Living Color.

Wow, some of these are fairly recent :D

I'll definitely agree
"The Tracy Ullman Show"
"Married with Children"

those two were very early Fox shows. I loved Tracy Ullman, I even remember the cartoons they had before the Simpsons.

The Gary Shandling Show?

I'm pretty certain this was a fox show.

Don't remember much about the show, but I still remember most of "the song that you hear, as you read the credits."

Yup i liked Parker Lewis a lot too.

When did Briscoe County Jr. premiere? It's definitely not a show from Fox's early days, but it deserves props just the same...

Holy shit, I forgot all about Shandling! Now that I remember, I can recall that the show was -totally- odd in the fact that would speak to the audience in even walk off the set and talk to the directors and shit and then walk back on set and continue the show. :tickled: It also had one of the best theme songs ever.

Parker Lewis was a great show, but then again Ferris Bueller was my favorite 80s movie so I'm biased. :D

Get a Life was funny for a few episodes but god old fast IMO.

Cops is another one I think... it has been on fox forever.
It used to only be in one town for awhile, but then moved to other locations.
I can't find out when it first started tho...

Get Smart starring Andy Dick (Zach Smart, son of Max Smart).
A short lived 1995 remake of the original Get Smart starring Don Adams (Maxwell Smart) in 1965.

This is the theme for Gary Shandling, the theme for Gary Shandling
Gary called me up and asked if I can come and sing for him
I'm almost halfway finished, how do you like it so far
How do you like the them for Gary's Show?

it's prolly full of mistakes but I remember it something like that, eh?

Titus was great. Greg the Bunny reminded me of South Park in the sense that it had puppets cussing for cheap laughs (whereas South Park has kids cussing, yeah funny the first time I guess...). Not one of their best.

Neither of these are "early" Fox shows, heh.

Getting OT, who here likes King of the Hill? Chalk me up as a big fan. Do y'all think we Texans are all like that?

Getting further OT, the Simpsons is getting really bad. I could elaborate but it was pretty well summed-up in that thread a few months ago; you can really tell they fired their old writers. I used to be so into The Simpsons (watched it since I was 3 or so), but I find myself turning the tv off nowadays if the episode was released within the last 5 years...
