The final design for the phantom has been unveiled... and it looks good. Or at least I'd think it would next to my TV :).

I am not too sure about the future of this console but the specs make me think that there should be a lot of homebrew for it (who said the romz ?).

What's your take on this new player in the console market?

Cool-looking design, but it just seems like a pipe dream at the moment. Is it going to run PC games or something, or will games have to be made for it specifically?

Still looks like bullshit.

Vaporware until it hits the market.

I can't stand their completely vague language. This company has been nothing BUT secrets and bullshit buzzwords since this platform was announced.

AKA- The system is a failure already.

Its a computer in a box.. Imo its a waste of money. I hate how all of these game companies are trying to come out with the new thing and its failing miserably ie Ngage.

Yeah, I think that's why no one is taking them seriously - they describe their machine like they're fucking politician or something.

Altough I agree with all of you regarding the company and the fact that its nothing more than a computer, I do find it interesting that for $199 you'll get a nice looking Athlon XP 2500+ with a Geforce 5700 and a hard drive... looks like it would be a perfect Mame Server.

I am curious to see the hackers response to this little mahcine as it seems like the perfect thing to hack, more than the xbox.

Nice design, but I get a very Webtv-ish vibe from it. And that, my friends, is not a good thing.

Too bad it's still a hoax as far as I'm concerned...I'll believe it when I see it- in person.
