I've heard this theme being used on more than one occasion, but I can't but a name or artist too it. I am pretty sure it is not Ennio Morricone, I've gone through most of his stuff and I didn't hear it. Plus the electrical guitar rift at the beginning doesn't seem like somthing Morricone would do.

Yeah, this has been killing me, too. In fact, I'm still trying to figure out the music clip from the Capcom Red Dead Revolver trailer that had lyrics in Spanish (however long ago that was).

About the guitar riff, have you seen Once Upon a Time in the West? Henry Fonda's theme opens with almost that same note, but that's the only electric guitar from Morricone I can think of off hand. There may be others.

I'm almost certain its an original composition for the game.

It sounds SO MUCH like Ennio Morricone that everyone is assuming its a song of his. Check on AdTunes.com, even over there people are stumped.

It is a pretty bad ass song though.

I'm thinking its from Once Upon a Time in the West, it sounds just like it to me and my bro.

Thing is this same exact music was just recently used on the Chapelle Show for the "World Series of Dice" sketc. The episode is Season 2 episode 7, but I can't find the complete credits and when I was watching the episode the credits flew by. I should have TiVo-ed that shit :emb:

It's definitely not, as I've seen the movie many times and have the soundtrack, but it does sound in that vein.

argh, are we going to have to admit defeat in this endeavour? I'm at the point where I might run down to the EB and buy the game to find out :loco:
