Anybody think it would be cool if companies like SNK and CAPCOM got together and made deals like in sports to SALE/TRADE the rights to some of their players/fighters. Might as well since Capcom has virtually abandoned the 2D genre and SNK doesn't use 85 to 90% of it's overall fighters anyway.
Maybe it will be MORE incentive to use new/different talent on the farm.
Example:
1) SNK paid an undisclosed amount of money for the rights to Guy.
2) Capcom wanted to trade somebody like Guile or Ken for another SNK fighter???
3) Or either company bought out the others franchise fighter.
4) Or several key or quality players for a franchise player.
Various Roster Choices
Kyo for Ryu
Takuma for Gouki
Ken for Joe
Andy for Guile
Marco Rodriguez, Andy Bogard, Krauser for Ryu.
P.S.
I'm not saying I agree to these trades they're just an EXAMPLE! I know alot of DIE-HARD fans may dis-approve but I'd welcome a much needed change. Anyway, it's just an idea.
