Ok SO I have a MVS 2 slot cab. The scean would always flicker and pop and shake. So I removed the monitor and had all the caps replaced, this worked well for a while, but now it does it again, but different.

I play, and it'll just get DIM, way DIM, then go back to normal again. Soon it just stays way dim. COuld this be the power supply going bad? That cab is from 1992 and everything original.

Thanks in Advance.

It sounds to me like you have a dry joint (intermittent solder connection) on the CRT base pcb, or maybe on the main monitor board.
The heater pins are notorious for this. Check the crt base pcb for lousy solder connections.

Fuckin A mang! I Justr played it, works perfect for like 5 mins, then just gets dark, still can see and play everything, but just VERY dark, man this pisses me off. It really TRIES to flicker back to bright, but just can't do it, just fades to black (almost) and pretty much stays there. If I switch a game, it works fine for like 10 min, then does the same.

Shoudl I chnage the Power supply? How do I clean those thingys as stated before? Thanx.

Any and ALL helop is greatly appreciated.

What you have is a dry joint/ poor solder connection causing this intermittent problem, your local friendly TV Mr fix it maybe able to help you nail it.
I would tap the board, shift the wiring whilst the board is running ok to see if youy are able to bring the fault on, this may help identifying where this poor connection is located. Good luck.
