That's right muthafuckas. It's time for the most underrated 16-bit franchise to come back in proper form, as a truly badass state-of-the-art RPG with all the incredible art, music, and graphic splendor we know Sega is capable of.

PSO set E3 ablaze four years ago, and I think the time is right.
The RPG market is vastly bigger than when this series originated, and I think Sega could have their first non-Sonic mainstream hit.

Your 0.02 would be much appreciated.

I'm in the same boat. I simply can't play RPGs anymore. I don't have the time nor the patience. I stick to arcade style games now-a-days.

If Sega did announce PSV though, I think it'd do extremely well. It'd be a good move on Sega's part, no doubt. RPG fans would be very lucky.

I never really did get into 'em all that much - the closest I ever came was with the adventure, quasi-action rpg's (zelda). I can't even hardly jerk off anymore because it takes too much time, and my attention span isn't that long :(

If they do it, let it be a sequel from the fourth of the series.

Phantasy Star IV was and still is to me the greatest RPG ever made.
Everything was perfect on that game.
From storyline to graphics, from sound to battle engine... That game was PERFECT.

Bring it on. Just don't make it in crappy PSO style.

I actually enjoyed the "crappy" style of PSO. But, I agree 100%! Give us PSV. I also loved PS4 to death (beat it 4 times or so). What a great series....

Screw that card battle crap, which even *I* tried to play since I'm such a fan.

Hell, either that, or give us a 2d Streets of Rage 4.

My thoughts EXACTLY

although i'm not a huge fan of PSO3, I still play it occasionally. I feel as if it's only worth maybe about $25-30 tops.

A SOR/BK 4 would be GREAT!! with multiple paths, plenty of characters, vehicles, ... :drool:

Heck, I don't have a whole lot of time for RPG's either but heck, I'd buy PSV and slowly work my way through it. PS :buttrock:

I'll drink to that. No patience for RPG's. When i do play them I can't help but feel that I'm wasting my precious free time.

With fighters, schmups, etc... I feel that I can earn some experience points (for real) by getting better at them, so as to offer more competition for 2 player play.

RPG's.. blah but PS2, and PS4 are great though. PS2 esp... close to my heart.

I'm gonna play part 4 after I beat Knights of the Old Republic because my friend gave his copy to me.

That would be awesome.

I love Phantasy Star. I have beaten all of the core series(I am not counting the Japanese GG releases) and play tons of PSOX.

I was just thinking If they do decide to bring back PS, then maybe, just maybe they'll rerelease a couple others like Dragon Force or Panzer Dragoon Saga. I would KILL to see these games updated and brought back, but alas but a pipe dream ...

Oh yeah and the games better be xbox only too, none of the cross platform crap that holds the xbox versions back.
