Get rid of the Los3r huggies Rating

ok,

so for some odd reason I find myself browsing through the member list and low and behold just about every other member is this

los3r

what's the point to even keeping them on there? is this now a neo-geo, huggies forum? do the majority of the member wear diapers?

I know it was done at some point to mark duplicate accounts, but i would hate to think form now on when I trying to look up a member to PM i have to browse through countless huggies ads.

Yeah - I think that anyone who doesn't post within a three month period should be axed. I wonder if this is an easy thing to implement?

well it is not so much that. I am sure some of them may still be lurkers, It is just the choice of icons that is annoying. it's a damn diaper comercial. I can see the Next NGH release

I guess 3 months is a good gauge though, I would really just be happy if the get read of the rating. Although scrolling through pages of non-active members is also annoying.

ok well, first off Lose the Icon for the 0 posters. It appears that 30% of the members are going to be 0 posters despite whatever name or Icon you use to describe them. Having a Icon in there to point it our just looks silly IMO since it will be shown all over the member list.

second, Keep it Neo Geo releated. I don't know like

I beleive at one time they did. When I lurked here, I had to make an account so I could view the forums if memory serves me correct. This is probably the largest reason we have so many dead 0 post accounts.

You know, I just noticed this as well. Ive been a member for somewhile now, I take a break from visiting the site for about 8-9 Months now, I come back to seeing that the forums have changed a little, but I used to have at least 50-60 posts(I think) - now I have no posts, and ive posted about 5-6 times now and I still have 0 posts PLUS my other posts are gone now.

Is there any way that this Loser BS can be lifted from Myself and other members in a similar predicament??

EDIT - LOL ok so the Loser label just lifted... but its still annoying!

ok, fair enough - well anyone with under 500 posts who doesn't post within a 3 month period should be dropped then. There are tons of people who just join the site to sell one lousy item, and are then never to be heard from again.

It's not an issue of deleting people who don't post. It's a new issue with the upgraded boards. When you click on the memberlist you get like 500 images of Huggies. This never used to happen. In fact, the whole memberlist thing seems 100% inferior to what it used to be. I can't seem to make it sort the members at all anymore.

Bottom line: If it's going to mandatorily show ranking next to everyone's name on the member list, can the Huggies image.

I use to think the huggies icon was only given to a newbie who posted their first postr in the war room and then it came off after they posted in a different forum, has that changed now then ?

You could just do it by looking at their names. If they've been a member since June of 2001 and have only made 6 posts, it's probably a pretty safe bet they aren't gonna post anymore.

I don't understand why I have the huggies and why my post count isn't going up. I just registered last week and have been posting in the market forums since then. What is going on?

EDIT: I just found out. Posts in the market somhow don't count for newbies.

We're talking about how everyone with a ZERO post count has a special rank displaying a huggies picture. Are people not clear on this?

I agree. Maybe a six-month time period would be better. There are a lot of members who have never used their account and some who have only used it once or twice just to off load....I mean...sell their stuff.

I went ahead to change the topic to better reflect this. Although I dislike keeping 0 posting members around. My Main beef is with the Huggies los3r rating.

besides it appears the problem with the 0 posting members is more an issue with the upgrade and they way the board operates then anything.
