Seriously, this has turned into a GIGANTIC problem.
I've run adaware, cwshredder, hijack this and spybot, and i CANNOT get rid of this fucking adware that resets my fucking homepage.

On top of THAT, now I have a file called DPUSYS.INI on my desktop that I CANNOT delete...and searches on the web for it only return SPAM links disguised as fucking HELP FORUMS. Is this the new BRILLIANT trick? Cause, while its admittedly genius, it makes me want to commit suicide.

Can anyone fucking help me with this RIDICULOUS problem?

Make sure you have downloaded the latest updates for AdAware and Sypbot.

sounds like you've been hijacked.
http://www.spywareinfo.com/articles/hijacked/
scroll down till you see hijackthis,
it's a program that helps you with the problem.
you still need to use that and go through you registry and delete malicious looking
keys I believe. It happened to me awhile ago but forgive me as I forgot
the little steps I had to take about it.

Ouch. Yeah, it'd be best to make sure you're running the latest versions of system clean-up programs. If worse comes to worse though, you may have to re-format your hard drive.

I hope it doesn't come to that, but it'd zap everthing causing you trouble.

I've always preferred SpyBot than the very annoying and invadent ADware

IMO best things to do is uninstall Adware

then download regcleaner 4.3 and you'll be able to delete EVERY files or registry entries you'd like
but be careful on how to use it....It's very powerful..don't mess up with registry or you're fucked

Well, I got it taken care of.

the .INI file had fucking copied itself to LOTS of fucking folders, so even in safe mode when I deleted it, it was able to come back.

the same thing happened to me, when i tried to install imesh. my IE was nuked with an adware bar, and when i tried to remove it with adaware, the spyware program must have took some reg files with it, cause my IE was broke/corrupt afterward. 2 days of trying to fix it didnt work, I had to format and reload windows.

the worst part is this shit is in OFFICIAL downloads now, I just re-installed yahoo messenger a couple days ago, and I had gator and 2 other spyware programs that installed with it.

This sort of program is not that difficult to get rid of. It almost always adds itself to the run key in the registry. You can delete all the files it creates, but as soon as you re-boot your computer the key will copy them all back. If anyone is intersted then let me know and I'll expain how to delete the registry key.

WARNING!!!!!

Do not mess about with the registry on your computer if you don't know what you are doing. If you screw up you'll have to re-install Windows.
