Mai:
She is most excellent and VERY annoying. She has to be used fast and 'uncontrollably'. You should be jumping around with the butt in the face and doing the B&B combo. Misc stuff:
- The air butt move is amazing, both in terms of anti-air and air-to-ground. Ppl get on it like hell. It lands as a cross-up quite a bit as well.
- If they catch drift of the above butt move mix it up with her air QCB+P, cuz it comes down much faster and throws of their timming. Pretty safe too if blocked (unless you're facing a grappler ofcourse).
- Her QCF+P is great, use but don't abuse (as in throw over and over). Can be very annoying.
- Her B&B combo is:
jump in, sC, df+B (one hit), QCB QCF+K DM or QCB+P (the safest flow-up, if the opponent blocked the rest of the combo).
Whats nice about the combo is that the df+B has to be blocked low even though its used in the midst of the combo. Also, it does great damage and is very safe if blocked.
- Her jD has excellent priorty especially as an anti-to-air, can even be used as an anti-air of sorts.
- HCB+K can be a great anti-air if used properly.
- She has a Kyo style jump+down+C. It can be used to make your back hop longer as well.
- Her new fire piller DM in 2k3 is excellent. It can be used as both an anti-air and a counter move. The weakness of this move is that she can easily be knocked out of it, but the huge strenght is that even if she gets knocked out the pillar still goes up and does as much (if not more) damage than if she didn't get knocked out. Use and abuse.
Overall:
Jump around and be annoying.
