Name a good "competitive" activity for 2 pair of couples to wage war in

I'm thinking maybe a board game... or whatever, but not sure.

Basically, me and a girl... my guy friend and his girl... getting together... want ideas for "competitive team" activities to partake in... and losing pair... has to do... well, "7 minutes in Heaven" hahaha.

We already did bowling where losing pair had to kiss. This time we'll be at my girl friend's apartment, so I'd like the idea to be accessible indoors.

C'mon you bastards, gimme some good suggestions. :loco:

Um, the "losing pair" have to make out? This implies that you don't want to do the nasty. The way these games are normally played is, if you're successful, you get to go shag for a half-hour or whatever. Or, ya know, you can do it your way...

Super Monkey Ball and its sequel is the best multi-gender party video-game in history. All the games are either universal (tennis, boxing, etc) or insanely easy to learn (the target/flight game et al). So, if you want to stay in, go with that.

If you want to huddle around a computer, any You Don't Know Jack game is great for four people. I don't remember if there's even a team option, but you can just add up the scores at the end of each game and play that way.

Board games, huh? Cranium is highly addictive and thoroughly embarrassing, best played when tipsy but not raging drunk, and if you're good at artwork or some other skill it's a excellent opportunity to show off (this I know from experience). Balderdash and Fib or Not are two lying games, where you basically lie your ass off and try to get the opposing team to believe your bullshit. Fun, but not as varied as Cranium. Ummm, that's all I can think of. Scattergories is alright, but "slow" I guess is the word I'm looking for, with most of it done in total silence and whispering, so it's not a real rowdy board game (if those even can be said to exist). It's also boring as hell with only two teams, so use only if you're desperate.

Those are my suggestions. You could also just pretend you're in 7th grade again and play Truth or Dare. Always good, always juvenile, always ends in streaking.

Honestly, Steve, sometimes I read your posts (not really this one) and I hear that voice from "the Wonder Years".

As for games, I would play Monopoly: that way you'll all hate each other ;)

Taking a page from my friends:

Super Drunky Ball.

Works like a charm.

HAHAHA. It's all cool, Bobak. I agree with you. And just for the record, THE WONDER YEARS is my favorite sitcom series of all time. I love it. Kevin Arnold, Jack Arnold, Ben Stein... the VOICE.... good shit. All of it.

Haha, Monopoly came into my mind... I dunno. Cranium also crept into my mind. All I know is, should be good times.

And to Z... well, me and her aren't a couple... and the other isn't either so yeh.... its LIKE THAT. :loco:

Battleship (2 player)
Stratego (2 player)
Trivial Pursuit (4 player)
Chess (2 player)
Pictionary (4 player)
Scrabble (4 player, though not in teams, but could be)
Jenga (2-4 player)
Yahtzee (4 player, though not in teams, but could be)
Risk (4 player, games take one-two hours to play though)

...oh yah, board games are teh shiz nizzle. I'd say Risk is probably the best pick of the bunch since you're talking about "all out war". :D

Get a deck of cards and bust out a good hand of spades. You are bound to argue and have fun.

This game is called.. "Haitian Roulette"

1. Get a haitian immigrant.
2. Both couples have to have a threesome with said immigrant.
3. Weigh yourselfs afterwards.
4. Take Polaroids of every person naked.
5. Come back in a few weeks and see who has lost the most weight or developed the most lesions.

The winner is the team with the highest score.

To Figure out your scores:

Amount of Weight Lost + Amount of lesions / T-Cell count.

It's super happy fun for everyone!

Steve, I highly recommend Taboo! Great game. If your going for videogames, Bombastic would be a good one. I also could write up my "Drinking Rules" to Mario Party. Other good board games:

Scatagories
Cranium
Pictinary
Scrabble
Scene It! (only if you have movie knowledge)

But I would recomend Taboo in this situation over any other :)

A good game of "Quick ladies...Drink This!" sounds like it's in order.

mario party 5 :D

1.)
mad gab (not a board game... but it is hilarious... it will have you rolling...seriously.) Basically... you read off cards IE like 2-5 words, and the person listening (or team) has to guess what short phrase those words sound like...

2.) Cranium

3.) Uno (but be warned... this can cause wars...seriously)

Those should keep you busy for about 5 weeks :)

Get a really bad movie and have a drinking game: Whenever you see something goofy/stupid, take a drink.

This works great (maybe too great) with the Star Wars Christmas Special.
I've also done it with "Cool as Ice".

as for board games, umm... I don't know if I would go for Stratego or Chess (nothing says "fuck me" like a game of chess... or not), but these work really well (adapted from Magician's list):

Trivial Pursuit - remember to compliment her on every answer she gets right
Pictionary - this is always a fun time in mixed company. Just don't get too harsh in criticism.
Charades - same as pictionary, only less stuff you have to have.
Scrabble - A lot of chicks I know really dig this game. However one stopped playing because I kept beating her (at the game).
