Yes, I know that my knowledge of the english language sucks.

Please feel free to correct the poor english in my posts here. I'm having problems to create some kinds of phrases, so help me to make my posts less horrible to read :D

I want to improve in this language ;)

I never really have a problem with people from non-English speaking countries posting messages with grammar/spelling errors. Your English is better than my Portuguese (that is what you speak in Brazil isn’t it)?

Still if you want some help your first post should have read something like this:

Thank you guys, but I have a LOT of difficulty trying to do some "conections" in the phrases. Like the use of some prepositions and so on.

Just an example (directly from a post of mine at the Game Play section):

"Hibiki, just because I feel an urge to hug her every time that she gets shocked for killed someone ^^"

I'm 90% sure that it's just wrong.

And I want some help in the choosing of the words. I doubt that native speakers uses"less horrible".

And please, correct this post too! Is the use of that in the phrase above correct?

I have some proble using have in the past tense as a auxiliary for other verbs. I must use "had make/win/call" or "had made/won/called"?

EDIT: Yes Matt, we talk portuguese here. Kudos to you for not thinking that we speak spanish here ;) (nothing against you, spanish guys).

The use of the word that was correct.

Rather than using less horrible in your first post you could have used better or easier

same for Amano jacu and Lovecraft

guess mine is the worst among "active" int'l members

Stephane and other cunts like him don't count

It seems like you've got a pretty decent handle on the language. Just stay away from these forums for a year or two and you should have it down cold. If you read an excessive amount of posts here, you can expect your English to go to shit.

but posting helps you with getting your own sentenses together, since you really need to think about what you're going to type.

it's still more difficult (at leat to me) to express myself, while i understand pretty much everything i can read in ride (ROOOTTTTTT!!!! :D), transworld bmx and other english mags. i also watch most of my dvds in english only. guess, that kind of gives you a feeling for the language and might be the best way to improve your skills, if have no native speakers around. google can be used as a spellchecker and bablefish isn't useless, either.

i only wish i could do the same with my danish and russian. :(

well yeah, I'm not able anymore to type a proper portuguese
speaking is allright, but typing in portuguese becomes hard if you don't make some practice for so long time
and I have an english keyboard now....so go figure, I have to copy/paste letters that I don't have and all...It becomes stressing
