blackadder is funny as fuck! rowan atkinson master of dry delivery.......
neuromancer, id forgotten just how brilliant this book is....
how are count zero and mona lisa overdrive btw?
NEUROMANCER to this day OWNZ most of Hollywood's shitted out SFX laden flicks to this day. *Gibson's descriptions of what was going to be, {that is now} only more powerful, interactive and downright a lot "cooler" just put to shame anything copied since. *COUNT ZERO and MONA LISA OVERDRIVE won't dissapoint you man... go out and read them.
It's too bad that Seven Arts Pictures and Chris Cunningham were never able to get the movie of "Neuromancer" off the ground, because from the Script I own it would have put the Watchowski's back in the closet where they fuckin' belong. Never heard of Black Adder though.

I just re-read Idoru as this week, its quite good as well. now on to Pattern recognition and All Tomorrows Parties.
I never really cared for his "Post Sprawl Trilogy" books, but Virtual Light and IDORU were the best IMO. To me
All Tomorrow's Parties just wasn't engaging enough for me, and
Pattern Recognition proved to me that when you become a sub culture icon and sell enough books ANYTHING can be published by you, because while the book is IN THE ZONE no doubt, it's the hardest to read of all his works. When I read
Neuromancer and it's follow ups there was no such thing as The Internet, V.R. was a technical buzz word for future military use and thus some of that was confusing, but it made sense even more when movies like "Johnny Mnemonic" had the visual part of it showcased. *Pattern Recognition might as well be about the pattern of Gibson having lost his more imaginative EDGE and machine gun agnst than anything else. I still actually care about what happend to Molly Millions... what happend after DOG SOLITUDE? I still want to know more about Angela Mitchell and Automatic Jack from "Burning Chrome"... I couldn't feel emotion one about the protagonist of P.R. though.
