It'd be nice if besides listing which Manga/Anime it is, why not give a little blurb about how much you're liking it ATM.

For me, this one is easy: Naruto

My god this thing is so perfect it's damn near HOLY! I haven't been this into an anime since I was like 13 years old and was watching/reading DBZ for the first time (this was before the Funimation exploded and made it gay).

Anywho, this thing has got more good characters in it than most other anime's I've seen. Plus it's got that perfect mix of comedy/action/drama that really only the great ones can lay claim to. I'm sure it's not for everyone here, if you're way into that scifi/uber-serious/mind-fuck type anime then you probably won't like Naruto. But if you're into other "normal" type anime like DBZ/Kenshin then you're going to love this gem of a series.

PS. If you're one of those gay "I hate all things popular" people then stay away for a while, Naruto is extremely popular ATM. You'll want to wait a while till no one cares about it anymore and then you can dive into it like normal.

Ive seen a few eps of Naruto, but as I havent seen from anywhere near the beginning, nor read the manga, it wasnt terribly interesting.

Gungrave however was awesome. great story, art, atmosphere, everything.

Currently watching Tenjou Tenge, Tits and fighting, what more can you want?

Madlax and Gantz also both look interesting, but i havent watched enough to say much about the story.

Naruto fucking owns me, you, and a dog named Boo. It's incredible the depth found in the storyline. Not to mention the awesome jutsu used by various clans. I make it a point not to read the online translated manga so I can watch the anime without knowing what's going to happen next. I buy the Viz graphic novels, which is like a year behind the anime so it's cool.

I can't wait to see what happens between Kakashi and Itachi. Badasses from hell.

I'm currently into a lot of stuff.

Waiting for the final S-Cry-Ed disc to finish off a good series.

Can't wait for the English subbed version of the Mahoromatic special (I have the R2 LE release already).

I'm way too anxious for the Cutey Honey TV box from R2. Taking a day or 2 off from work to watch that one when it shows up.

For some strange reason I just finished the entire Love Hina series. I was hearing some things about it so I watched it. It is actually funny. Right now I am catching up on Cowboy Bebop. I wonder why I didn't watch this earlier.

Bakuretsu Tenshi (Studio Gonzo), and, as always, everything Matsumoto :buttrock: :buttrock: :buttrock: :buttrock:

Recently added to my Matsumoto's collection:

- Interstella 5555
- Queen Millennia (movie)
- Queen Emeraldas
- Arcadia of my Youth
- Galaxy Railways TV (Ginga Tetsudou Monogatari, 2003)

Naruto = sucks

Matsumoto > Go Nagai > Macross > Studio Gonzo > every anime ever made.

I love you. TenTen is my favorite manga ever. Too bad the anime isn't as good as it should be.

Madlax is Noir 2. Kuwashima Houko is AMAZING in it, but other than that, it's as much of a rehash of Noir as Konomini is of Mahoromatic. Although I think it's actually better than Noir so far, unlike Konomini.

Tenjo is avaliable as anime already? I knew that they were doing the anime, but I didn't know that it was already released!

I'm not tuned to the newest releases as I was used to be... :(

What? You mean Tenjou Tenge?

Oh and I'd also like to add that Gonzo makes the worst anime I have seen in recent years, Full Metal panic and Peacemaker Kurogane aside. (And those are based on manga)

They rock so hard, from Blue Submarine #6 until now. I just didn't watched Peacemaker (TOO hype, I usually avoid series that 90% of the average anime fans in the web like)

Naruto - My current anime obsession. Great characters, music, and action. Besides, who doesn't love ninjas?

One Piece - I just recently started getting into this anime. It kind of reminds me of Dragon Ball Z and is sort of aimed at a younger audience, but it's still pretty entertaining. Kaizoku Fansubs is the only group I know that's really sticking with it. They're slowly catching the current episodes (close to 200 now).

Full Metal Alchemist - I've only watched maybe five episodes so far, but this series has an interesting storyline so far and I definitely plan on watching the rest.

That's pretty all of the recent anime I've been watching. I'm downloading some Hunter X Hunter, so I'll give my impressions once it finishes and I watch some.

Not really reading any manga right now, though Naruto and One Piece are being released in the US by Viz, now. Toriyama's World has "scanslations" of the others I mentioned, plus a lot more.

Directed at those who like Noir

Sorry, but I simply hated it after the first disc, more specifically the first episode. The first episode had so much style, then by the 3rd disc, I couldn't bring myself to watch anymore.

Oh, so because it's popular is sucks, right? Thanks for telling me this life changing information.

I feel like I'm finally becoming "hardcore!"

Naruto is better than every Gonzo anime combined. Please stop posting, you're only hurting yourself.

The same could be said of all Bee Train series.

Neither of those are original Gonzo series. They can animate beatifully, but for a company that was started by a bunch of guys who left Gainax because they couldn't end series well, they have completely FAILED at their mission.
