I'd like to buy this tool that allows to play DC imports (I have an European console and want to play Jap/USA games) in full screen.

<a href="http://gear.ign.com/articles/59232p1.html" target="_blank">http://gear.ign.com/articles/59232p1.html</a>

Has anybody got one for sale, or knows any on-line store with it? Currently I'm in Pittsburgh, PA (USA).

By the way, if I can't find the original but somebody is willing to sell a working back-up of it (I dunno if they're available for this disc?) I'll gladly take it, but just don't expect me to pay for it as it was the original thing.

Thanks for your attention.

I think Electronics Boutique in Ross Park Mall used to sell DC-X, but I'm not sure if they do now. I'm not sure what part of Pittsburgh you're in, but you might want to just poke around the game stores in the malls and see if you can find it.

I myself am using the Innovation Super Game converter that I bought at an anime convention. It plays all of my Japanese imports perfectly fine on my US DC.

If I'm in any game stores within the next few days, I'll try to remember to look to see if I can find it for you.

Well, I'm staying at a friend's house in S Dallas Ave (I think it's Squirrel Hill?), but I'll be moving to a student residence in Lothrop, Oakland, besides the Pitt university where I'm doing a course.
I've looked some videogame stores so far and saw that the DC stuff is pretty cheap but they don't have anything interesting. Of course if I see that DC-X I'l buy it.
Anyway thanks for you help, definately it would be nice if you found it and tell me about it. <img src="graemlins/mrt2.gif" border="0" alt="[Mr T]" />

Tsunami, which booting disc are you talking about? If it's the Utopia one or similar, like the CDX (do not confuse it with DC-X), don't worry, I already have them all. Yes, they allow you to boot imports, but you can't control the 50/60 hertz rate. DC-X is supposed to do that.
I have a PAL console.
For example, import MotW runs at 50 Hz using the regular boot CDs, and some games like the Sakura Taisen run with the screen discentered. I'm afraid I'll have problems with Ikaruga, that's why I want DC-X so badly.
I think the DC-X iso file was released but takes more then 500 mb and it's impossible to find.

Try <a href="http://www.baysoftgames.com" target="_blank">www.baysoftgames.com</a> they say they have it. Question...why do you have a PAL system if you are in the states?

CheapNeogeo, I usually live in Barcelona (Spain), that's why I have a PAL console, I'm only visiting USA for 6 weeks. Thanks for the link, but I found another on-line store that sells it for 20$.

Shingo, as I said I already have all this burnable DC booting discs, and with them I can boot imports (USA or JAP) in my console just fine. But they don't allow me to select 50/60 Hz, that's why I want that DC-X, that is supposed to work much better for my purpose, but there's a price to pay...

Thanks to you both anyway.

OK, the person I was supposed to make a trade for DC-X with has disappeared, and I'm still looking for this DC-X as I haven't seen it in any store around here in Pittsburgh.

So if in the following days noone here makes an offer, I'll just go the easy way and order it from here: <a href="http://www.cmgsccc.com/store/index.php?item=3" target="_blank">http://www.cmgsccc.com/store/index.php?item=3</a>

Thanks to all for your attention.

Well, I've found a really good offer at gamegizmo for DC-X: one for 14.97 or 3 for 25.94$.
<a href="http://www.gamegizmo.com/products.php?sysID=4&pID=39" target="_blank">http://www.gamegizmo.com/products.php?sysID=4&pID=39</a>

I have also been confirmed DC-X works in the way I want it to: <a href="http://www.neo-geo.com/cgi-local/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=5&t=002671" target="_blank">http://www.neo-geo.com/cgi-local/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=5&t=002671</a>

So I'll be ordering it now.

Thanks to all for your <img src="graemlins/help.gif" border="0" alt="[Help]" />

Ok, finally thanks to Blaine's directions I've found a true DC-X (the last one in the stores there) <a href="http://www.neo-geo.com/cgi-local/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=8&t=011405#000016" target="_blank">http://www.neo-geo.com/cgi-local/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f =8&t=011405#000016</a>

However I'm still waiting for gamegizmo to compensate me for their scam.

Thanks to everybody.

glad you finally got one amano. my gamestation ahs sold out of them, so hold on to that one! :D

best of luck in getting back your money from gamegizmo. if they don't reply you can sue them under the sale of goods act 1994 by selling an item that was not as specified or illustrated.
