Sega's E3 statement, what do you think it could be?

"Learn about SEGA's 2004 lineup and hear BIG news you'd NEVER guess," read the invite, which promised "explosive news--something even YOU won't be able to guess!"

What do you think Sega could be talking about? Another home console attempt maybe? Or perhaps Sega will be giving Atomiswave big-name franchise support? Maybe a Virtua Fighter vs Capcom game?

Well, I hope that it's to say that Sega, Capcom, SNKPlaymore and Sammy will all give Atomiswave support of some kind, with ports only going to Microsoft's Xbox and its successor. :loco:

But, honestly, Sammy has the future of 2D fighting by the balls now. The gaming populous does not get another 2D fighter unless Sammy gives the O.K.

I'm thinking Sega is partnering with the X-box and all Sega, Sammy, and SNK games will be X-box exclusive. I would prefer a new Sega console, so I talk about the vga support and how everything else is an inferior port.

Classic inserts and packaging for their Sega Genesis line. Who the hell thought cardboard would be a good idea...?

There's only 2 things I want from Sega: More Shenmue, more Azel Panzer Dragoon RPG... if that's not it, it's not exciting and I want my money back.

Weren't all Genesis games released in plastic cases in US?

Unfortunately, they started using cardboard in late 1994. Some of the first games to use it were Sonic and Knucles and Light Crusader. They looked veRy shitty. SOA adopted this new policy, and not SOJ.

It was shitty. Man PS4 looks so shitty in that fucking cardboard shit-box.

And...in order to carry on...I just want to say that SOA should have taken a cure from SOJ when it came to box art. Never liked the grid or the candy cane striping on Sega products. Man, it's shit to collect USA sega games.

That was my only complaint about the early EA games... it took them a little while to jump on the Plastic Cases.

I remember my early Genesis games included Populous, Zany Golf, Lakers vs. Celtics, Bukodan and all the boxes were dinged around in no time (the same thing happened to my Star Control... damn yoooouuuu, Ballistic!)
