Nope, nothing yet.

Not sure if it made it, but my NM master's review was submitted for that issue.

There's pics from the premier party in it, you can check me out hanging out with other staffers... even got to insult Tommy Tallarico there! ;)

I wonder what the problem was for Issue 2. Clearly it's done and on the way.

I e-mail Manci Games today and received a prompt reply.

Sales@mancigames.com
Thank you for writing.

We have experienced some growing pains with our new mailing house. Issue 2
was the first issue that we used a mailing house for, and as such, we have
encountered some delays. It was actually ready to go on 5/2, but due to
some technical issues, was not actually mailed out until 5/8.

We have been in contact with the mailer and they have informed us that the
magazines are shipped "periodical class," which takes 10 to 14 days to get
to wherever they are going. However, Canadian subscriber copies were sent
"first class," and they therefore have been in receipt of it for about a
week now.

We are very sorry about the delay and hope that you can bear with us while
we grow.

Thank you for your support,
Manci Games Magazine

Got issue # 2 today....the look back at the 8bit NES baseball games was good shit.
Remember some of these gems (and duds)?

Baseball - Nintendo (meh)

RBI Baseball 1- 3 - Tengen (back then it was hot because it had real
players. Games sucked, tho)

Tecmo Baseball (all I remember is that the pitchers threw major heat)

Tecmo Bad News Baseball (Bunny umps? Cinemas? Good shiz)

Bo Jackson Baseball - Data East

BaseWars - Ultra/Konami

Roger Clemens MVP Baseball - LJN

Legends of the Diamond - Bandai

Baseball Stars 1-2 - SNK (part 1 is GODLY)

Little League Baseball - SNK (underrated gem! IIRC, it was the first game
that allowed you to shift defense)

Baseball Simulator 1.000 - Culture Brain (awesome "alternative" game with
superpowers, a full season, lots of stadiums)

Bases Loaded 1-4 (The bimbo of sports games. Always looked good, but
fielding was CRAP)

Major League Baseball - LJN (assy)

Dusty Diamond's All Star Baseball - Broderbund

Got my free issue #2 of Manci Games today: really excellent magazine, looks like I'll get a subscription.

And VanillaThunder, your Ninja Master's review is solid - pretty much resonated with my own thoughts on the game.

On the whole, a much better magazine than I expected. I thought it would be more of a fanzine-type affair, but it's quite professional.

Only question I have is: why the name for the magazine?

Thanks, man. I try real hard to be objective on the Neo games but still show some love. You can probably tell that I really like the game a lot from the review, but I had to measure it against the true "upper echelon" of fighting games.

Yeah, it's a professional outfit. Jaysen and the rest of the crew were real serious about this when we all met up. REally took me by surprise.

I have no idea what the title means, I never asked.
