Hi there.

I just bought a PS to Neo Geo controller converter to use on my Neo Geo CD toploader and just found out it doesnt work reliably with the original Sony made PS1 controllers with NO analog sticks - it just has a D-pad), which unfortunately are the PS controllers I really like :crying:

On several games it will act like its STUCK with someone pressing right on the d-pad DOH! heh - so for example if you're playing Last Blade, which is one game it did do this on, your character will move to the right by itself; sometimes it takes a minuite or two to start doing this tho)

Anyway. I have a Sony made PS2 controller that worked PERFECTLY with the converter BUT I dont like the PS2 controller. Not cause of its shape or anything but because the dpad and all the action buttons are ANALOG X-P and thus they feel really loose and very USED compared to the Ps1 digital only PS controllers, kinda like they've been used for about 5 years already when the PS2 controller is NEW :shame:

So this brings me to my question. Im hoping that the PS1 Dual Shock/Analog controller has firmer buttons and Dpad more like the PS1 Digital only controller cause theyre NOT analog ;-p

So does anyone know if the PS to Neo Geo controller converter (the one at play-asia.com - link is below ;-) works with a PS ONE Sony made Dual shock correctly (and doesnt do the problem about going to the right I described above). I'd like to know for sure before I blow $$ on a controller I wouldnt use otherwise ;)

If you answer, please mention:
- If you are using the converter on a AES or on a Neo CD (Should it matter?)

and

- also if you are using a PS1 Dual shock ( more squarish plug - came with original PS1) or PS ONE Dual shock (normally white - came with redesigned cuter/smaller PS one has a more rounded plug), just in case there is a difference between them ;-D

Thanks! :help:

I just tried my old ps1 dual shock with one of these on both my aes and neo cd and encountered no problems, even the analogue worked

KOF Rugal B. - I assume you mean the converter works with a PS ONE Dual Shock by that, right? ;)
