Ninja Five 0 and Darius R. Both great games. Darius R is has levels from Darius, Darius 2, and Darius Gaiden all rolled into one game. Ninja Five 0 might take some looking to find a copy, but it's worth it if you like old school Shinobi and Ninja Gaiden side scrollers.

Gekido Advance is an absolutely kick-ass side-scrolling brawler that virtually no one has ever played.

Gekido is a good game.

All three of the CT Special Forces games on GBA are excellent.

Lilo and Stitch (plays like the Metal Slug)

Jet Grind Radio.

Ill think of more later, THERE ARE ALOT.

Bubble Bobble Old and New (Import, because I don't know if this one came out in the USA)

Super Puzzle Bobble Advance (It's ok, but still fun to have, I'm still sticking with the original)

Konami's Krazy Racers aka "Wai Wai Racing" (Awesome clone of Mario Kart, plus being the first to use the Mario Kart Mode 7 style. Features characters like Dracula from CastleVania, Cyber Ninja from MGS, The Octapus from Parodius, and Goemon from Mystical Ninja, hell Vic Viper the space ship is a hidden character too!)

Gradius Galaxies (Hard, but many people passed it up, I love it)

Lunar Legends (Solid RPG port, with a complete twist in the storyline compared to Sega CD and the PSX verisons)

Konami's Arcade Advance (Picked this up for $10 at TRU last X-mas, and I will say, having Rush N' Attack, Frogger, Yie Ar Kung Fu, Time Pilot, Gyruss, and Scramble) was a worthy buy, plus they added in "Advance" modes on some, so the old games get a slight upgrade via codes

Pac-Man Collection <--- this was solid...especially for choosing Pac-Attack as a choice of game...I really dig the puzzler

Columns Crown <-- another solid Puzzle game

DOOM 1 and 2 for GBA <--- 1 is a port from the Atair Jaguar, very nicely done, they even added DeathMatch and Co-op for 4 player. I'm still trying to hunt down Doom 2

Wolfenstien 3D <--- badass port of the classic PC game...all the missions too!

Super Ghouls N' Ghost <--- It's cheap, it's a classic..but..this is like a grand master challenge..you get rewards for finishing the levels with the golden armor..

Tony Hawk 2 for GBA...sure I hate sports games..but I had my moments of Skate Boarding games since days of "Skate or Die"...but this GBA port...very nice to have around if you're super bored...Im surprised how well the game handles

Onimusha Tactics <-- this is really good I hear

Sim City 2000 <--- this came out of nowhere back in December..but I love the original classic...it's like $15-20

Wario Land 4 <-- no one hardly talks about this one anymore...but god it was fun, because it just wasn't a port..it was totally original

Duke Nukem Advance <--- This was a lovely port, hardcore Duke 3D fans will love this one, i tried it for 5mins...just damn...everything is in tact..

I didn't get a Game Boy until the SP was released last year, but I remembered Dan Elektro's recommendation of Lilo & Stitch -a solid little Disney game that combines Metal Slug-like Stitch Levels and puzzle based Lion King like Lilo levels.

Not bad, and its always been cheap. It reminded me of the "Golden Age" of Virgin Interactive Disney games on Genesis (post-Castle of Illusion, which was amazing but by Sega): Aladdin, Lion King, etc.

I wouldn't call it great by any standard, but its definitely fun. It'll remind you of what games used to be like.

The Lion King on Genesis was even developed by Westwood Studios. :)

Oh, then that must be why it was worse that Aladdin ;)

I actually played the PC version on my cousins computer years ago when I was in France.

Yes it is, but I found it horribly un-balanced. Tight control, great graphics (very SNK inspired),but I found the gameply to be rather odd.

Yeah i sold mine after like a week...there WAS something weird about the game that threw me off. I think some of it had to do with the fact that the sprites seemed really flat and two dimensional with no illusion of depth at all. It was hard to land a punch or kick coming in from the side- a standard Final Fight type of cheap brawler move. Good Capcom/SNK/Konami beat 'em up sprites always seem like they have substance...

I hear that Karnaaj is good despite the on-acid and bad presentation.

I also recall hearing somewhere that Lady Sia was pretty good, not sure if I'm thinking of the right game...

Edit: OT, but is the first Iridion for GBA (Iridion 3D) worth about $6 for a loose cart? I know it's bad, but is it really that bad?

It's worth it for the music alone, but the game itself really is bad, mostly because the gameplay is religiously cheap, and the control is a bit off. Iridion 2 however, is one of my fave shooters to date!

Fire Emblem is a sleeper, if you are into games like Shining Force. Storyline is pretty interesting and the game is pretty challenging. Music is pretty good as well. Advance Wars 2 stole a lot of the thunder from this game, unfortunately.

Can't say enough about Double Dragon Advance... best remake of an 80's game I have played in a long while.

Gradius Galaxies is a good solid shooter that is as tough as the originals... maybe moreso. I haven't seen another shooter that could match this game's graphics and gameplay, and this game was available in the beginning of the GBA era.

Most have been mentioned.

Here's a few more...

Puzzle Fighter - Perfect port of one of the best puzzle games on the planet. Tight control, challenging gameplay, everything from the PSX and Saturn versions intact.

Super Dodge Ball - Everyone knows my affinity for this game. While not the best DB out there, still worthy as a portable dodgeball.

Wario Ware Inc. - The digital crack of the GBA! Perfect for aging ADD gamers. 100s of Think-fast minigames. Even more fun because it doesn't take itself too seriously. A treat for old school gamers all the way back to the Atari days when score meant everything, and a nod to ex NES gamers with bits of old classics throan in. Pick it up now! You won't be dissappointed.

Pinball of the Dead - Near impossible when you first play it, but once you get it down, real easy. Awesome music and sound inspired by one of the best gun games around.

Phantasy Star Collection - First 3 PS games on the go! What a deal! Too bad the best of the series, 4, is missing.. :crying:

Puyo Pop - Classic puzzle series on the run!
