Granted, the suit is anything revolutionary, but I'm happy that he can squat. Maybe this Bats won't be such a stiff.

For some reason, seeing the Dark Knight reminds me of Batman on the NES. Mmmm, gotta play through that one again sometime.

Christian Bale is going to re-energize this dead franchise, his acting skillz make him tailor made for the role of Batman.

I may even go as far as to say "back the f**k up Michael Keaton", CB may go down as the best actor to don the cape and hood. But we'll just have to wait and see.

LOL .... yeah, I saw that one. Batman should be all fixed up for the next monster truck rally :tickled:.

Anyway, I'm sure Bale will do an ok job as batman. Probably won't be as good as Keaton, but he'll probably do a job about on par with Kilmer.

Ah hahaha, I'm sorry, but I can only view Adam West know as Mayor West from Family guy :p

The new costum does look pretty sweet and I think Bale is a great fit for the role.

The only man who could prance around in a god awful costume, battle the most cheesy baddies ever, and still read the dialouge as though it were Shakespeare. Rock on, Adam West, rock on.

I like Michael Keaton. I can't offhand think of a movie of his I didn't enjoy. But I don't understand the Keaton as Batman love at all. They weren't horrible movies, and definitely better than the third and fourth movies, but they weren't that great either. If it's because he's the Batman you grew up knowing, that's cool, but his portrayal was hundreds of miles away from the actual character (pretty much any version of him, really). Whether or not that's a bad thing is another discussion. From what little we've seen and heard so far, this new one looks promising. No nipples on the costume is already a giant leap up.

I agree. I used to really love the Keaton/Burton Batflicks when I was a casual Bat fan, but when I started getting into the comics, they didnt appear as sharp.
