Melty Blood WOULD be a interesting Neo game?

I played it on PC, and the game is very fun.

Wonderful animation, voice cast and characters (but with a lot of "mirror characters" too :p )

Well, maybe a MOTW style version of the game in the neo would rock - with same level of animation, since the mirror characters use the same sprites set, the memory limitation wouldn't be a issue.

Tell what you think about it!

I don't know... the great thing about Melty Blood is that it's one of the only 2D fighters I've ever seen that actually uses cutting-edge graphics and sound to its fullest potential. A lot of beautifully animated moves would suffer when ported to the Neo.

Part of the reason I'd love to see the Neo switch platforms is to see an SNK 2D fighter with the quality of Melty Blood. That's why the beta info on Neowave is such a letdown to myself and others... even though SNKP has the tools now, they aren't using them. :(

Well, I think it too, in some way.

But considering:

- The characters are low-res;
- That level of animation can be done in Neo (like MOTW);
- The backgrounds are plain simple;

Well, some of characters would lost a lot, like that man-wolf guy, the transparency effects, and the two-maids-combo-character.

But, considering the losses, it would be cool or not?

Where can I get this game? I'm assuming it never had a US release. Is there a place I can buy or download it around here...a demo maybe?

For sure, but the scenarios and visual effects would need some tweaking to not look so "simple".

The only thing that I don't like in MB is the fact that the color of the portraits don't change when you change the color of you character... but I can live with that ;)

I never had - and never will, I think :p

Well, I friend had download it and copied to me. But you can find demos without difficult - I found lots of them when I was search for the latest patches to download.

If I found the sites again, I'll post them here.
