KOF 02 Timing problems

I recently picked this up and am having trouble pulling off some moves. I've been practicing Vice and Ramon. For Vice I'm having trouble with her Mithans Robe follow-up. I can get it after the qcf+p, but not after the qcb+p.

For Ramon, I know he's got that combo with dp+k that can be followed up where he does a flying body press or whatever and then followed up again where he picks them up. I can't get the first follow up at all. Gamefaqs has the move listed as another dp+k, but for the life of me I can't pull it off.

I know I probably just suck but any tips?

King of Fighters 2002 has some weird timing issues, I know what you mean, but it's all about getting it right... in your head.

I am not much of a Vice player in 2002, but I will try to see if I happen to have the same issue.

Regarding Ramon, it indeed is another DP+K, and then d,d+P, I personally have no problems with this move, so I don't know what to say, try until you get it right.

With Ramon do you do the second dp+k immediately after the first, or do you need to wait till he hits the ground? I'm trying to do it immediately after, and I'm thinking maybe I need to wait a second.

I do it immediately after and it works perfectly.

Mayhem (qcb+P) comboed into Mithan's Robe (qcf+P) is one of Vice's standard Mithan's Robe combos in 2k2 (and 98).

Timing here is not too difficult IMO. At first, try it with

qcb+C -> qcf+A

The C Mayhem gives you slightly more time to follow-up with the Mithan's Robe. Start inputting the qcf+A as soon as Vice rushes forward, you should be finished with it (read: have hit the A button) in or about the moment you see the hit flash of the qcb+C.

The combo window between the moves is a about half a second.

If you still have trouble, try it with this:

qcb+C, IMMEDIATELY followed by qcf+A -> qcf+A

Input the two qcf+A's in a about the same speed as you would input a qcf x2+button DM (not too quick!) but hit A after every qcf.
