If this is to be trusted, then it looks like the recently announced Metal Slug 4/5 combo pack and the KOF 2K2/2K3 combo pack will both come to the Xbox as well as the PS2, and Samurai Showdown 5 and SamSho 5 Special will come to the PS2 (presumably as a combo pack).

Let's just hope that they both have Live support... :buttrock:

Wasnt this posted a week ago? Maybe longer? Or maybe its just me.

That one was an uncomfirmed list from SPOnG.com. That one didn't list the Xbox combo packs or which version of SamSho 5 regular was coming to PS2.

jocappy, No, it didn't.
Anyways, the important thing is that SNKP realized it is in their best interest to spread the love. Quite a lot of you wished that the combo packs would come out on the Xbox so you don't have to buy a PS2 just to play teh ports, and look what happened. :glee:
Now, all that's needed is for a SamSho 5 Regular/Special combo pack to come out on the Xbox, and all will be right with the world. :smirk:
And Amix... amen to that, brother! :drool_2:

I'm still trying to make my mind about it be a good or a bad line-up...

Good games for sure (except for MS4), but just too plain, at least for us that are use to play it on NG at home or at arcades.

Damn I hope SS0S and the KOF combo pack goes Live. You would think it's going to be Live because MS3 and SVC are Xboxes first SNK games that are online.

I didn't see where it says ssV or ss0s are in development for xbox, I just see it for ps2/arcade, if you're talking about what gamespot has posted as the line up.

Concerning live support for any future SNK games coming out for xbox, I think it would be foolish of them not to incorporate live support.

I can't wait to play against you bitch asses on SVC in November! :buttrock:

Haha, 'most popular of all time', yeah right. Great news on the SS double pack though.

AWESOME!!!! I really look forward to the KOF 2002/2003 combo pack on PS2. Although I already own 2002, I really look forward to getting KOF 2003!! It's great to know that SCEA has decided to allow 2D games by collections packs!! That's just way better and the prices are reasonably low too.

It's nice to know SNK NeoGeo USA has planned to release more titles on 2004 than originally thought before. Year 2004 is turning out to be a great year for SNK!! :D

That's because it sucks.

woot.

edit: plz make SS5 live

have to disagree. the cube is actually a quite solid console with a good software lineup.
sad thing that it seems to be shunned a bit by game developers.
as it's not difficult enough for a console only company to survive against competition like Sony and Microsoft.
exclusive titles like RE4 or Killer7 suddenly going PS2 are definitely not going to help selling more cubes....
*conspiracy*

regarding ports: they can never deliver the original game experience anyway.
lol nah just kidding. better playing a port then not playing the game at all. though I'll definitely go for the originals. :buttrock:
