I was on my way here at speed to post the exact same thread.

What a fuckin retard this caroles-collectibles is, :idiot: If anyone bids on it im tempted to tell em to just walk away a never buy from this guy again.

Surley no-one could fall for that? $1000 for a conversion. There must be some way of putting this prat out of business.

Has anyone emailed this guy to find out if he has responded saying it is a Conversion or a legit Retail Game?

How can ebay continue to let this guy sell stuff? Half or more of everything he sells are illegal bootleg video games. The only reason he's getting away with it is because he selling Neo Geo Bootlegs.

If he was selling Nintendo, Sega, Sony, or any other manufactures copy righted material ebay would have him pulled in a second. But cause its Neo Geo no one from Ebay gives a fuck! It piss's me off to no end when I buy a cart and get a bootleg! :mad:

-Not that I'd buy from this guy but other sellers that have no idea there selling bootlegs. Its like a desease now, ebays covered in bootleg Neo Geo Software! :blow_top:

The question is, how can we get ebay to stop allowing this? :confused:

Well, that is what the email said. I still don't think that the game is real. If it was real, he could get $1,500 for it but because of his bad rep on these boards, I don't think that anyone from here will buy it including me. It is not like I have an extra $1,000 anyway since I am doing a Bust-A-Move conversion project as well as getting a Ninja Master's from Neo Bomber Man. Oh well...

Also in case no one noticed he won an auction for one of those Metal Slug conversions some guy from Thailand is selling, thats SURELY is one of them which he paid $159 for. Fuckin idiot.

The description "THIS IS NOT A BOOTLEG this has 100 percent SNK chips" and including that pic kinda implied to me he was covering himself by selling it as conversion and justifying it because it's made from original chips. That's bad enough, trying to get some mug to pay the price originals go for, but if he's telling potential buyers its a 100% Jap original, then sending a US conversion with the excuse "that's what's in the picture", and denying email contact that's even worse. - And that's what he'll be doing. Not that anyone looking for a MS1 is stupid enough to take his word for it. I can't see anyone buying something totally ungraded anyway. Let alone something with a conversion in the picture :rolleyes:
