Just curious. For many purchasing new carts was only ever an issue of ordering them upon release. But what ones in general turn up in the aftermarket, still sealed? Nevermind the ones you saw but did not buy, only the ones you owned actually at some point.

Me:

2020 Super Baseball
3 Count Bout
Aero Fighters 2
Alpha Mission II
Andro Dunos
Art of Fighting 2
Baseball Stars Professional
Blue's Journey/Raguy (both ver.)
Crossed Swords
Fatal Fury Special
Fatal Fury 3
Football Frenzy
Ghost Pilots
Joy Joy Kid
Mahjong Kyo Retsuden
Magician Lord
Metal Slug 3
Minasan no Okagesamadesu
Mutation Nation
Nam 1975
Ninja Combat
Quiz Daisousasen
Quiz King of Fighters
Riding Hero
Robo Army
Samurai Shodown II
Samurai Shodown III
Sengoku
Soccer Brawl
SpinMaster/Miracle Adventure (both ver.)
Super Sidekicks 2
Super Sidekicks 3
The King of Fighters '99
Top Hunter
Top Player's Golf
World Heroes

From what I can recall at any rate. That excludes games I only ever had newly pre-ordered because, again, I am merely curious to see what other NOS titles people seem to happen upon and go so far as to purchase.

Yup, i'm a big-tymer...LOL.

And proud to be one I see! Good to be honest about it ;) Really this is merely a general survey so any feedback adds to the interest.

Yeah, my original comment was meant to be self-depreciating and nothing more; i was just making fun of my limited experience in dealing with Neo games. No offense meant to you or this topic. Actually i thought it was pretty cool to get my NOS cart, smell the minty freshness, and check out the Neo Geo sticker...it stayed new for about a minute after i got it, but still, it was cool while it lasted!!!

See what I mean, it really is quite amazing what can still be found out there with enough looking, and plenty of luck.

Samurai Shodown II is incredible. Personally I have had about 30 sealed copies of it. A year and a bit ago from now one of the big stores in Japan suddenly turned out a fresh case of a dozen or more, just like that. Honestly I expect to see this game in just about everyone's replies :)

Yup, I had a Samsho II, as well as a Riding Hero, Andro Dunas, and a Super Spy. I think maybe one or two more I can't think of right now.

Heh, it never, ever, ceases to amaze me the amount of NOS stuff that is available in Japan - on any format!! I mean I was gob smacked when i heard that Jason scored a sealed Iron Clad cd... common stuff, sure, but Iron Clad? You'd have thought that'd been spirited away donkey's years ago!!
It'd be a real eye opener if you could get access to one of the major distributors inside Japan... you'd prolly find bloody all sorts of NOS stuff :)

Indeed. Whatever was done to them -nothing, sold, collected, opened & played, is wholly irrelevant. What matters is what us many treasure hunters bought up in the post-pre-order market.
