Help on kof2000/2001

Hi

I went on party mode in 2000 and unlocked a lot of things, i saved it afterwards and then went off it, when i came back on i went on party mode again and it started from the beginning, it also did this with 2001, does this mean that everything i have unlocked wasnt saved or what?

in the option put autosave on !

with that i doubt you will start from the beginning again !

yes, you should start from the beginning again. it's more like survival mode. But whatever you unlock will remain unlocked as long as you save your game.


I think you unlock a striker (or sometimes new characters?) for every 10 opponents you beat in a row. for example:

- if you win 20 matches and exit, you will unlock 2 strikers (make sure to save)

- if you play again, you will start from the beginning and you will need to beat at least 30 oppnents to unlock a new striker.



and so on. so it would be recommended if you try to unlock everything in one go (it's an easy job anyway, since the CPU acts stupidly)

I'm not sure about the exact numbers for unlocking strikers though, but you can check some faqs to see what requerments you need to unlock certain strikers/things.

Defeat 14 ----> unlocks Strikers: Heavy D, Lucky and Brian

Defeat 27 ----> unlocks strikers: Blood Iori and Blood leona

Defeat 36 ----> unlocks Strikers: Wolfgang Krauser and Mr.Big

Defeat 40 ----> unlocks Striker: Hiedern

Defeat 70 ----> unlocks Striker: Orochi(Blood)

Defeat 99 ----> unlocks Striker: Krizald

KOF 2001:

Defeat 10 ----> unlocks striker Glaugan

Defeat 20 ----> unlocks striker Ron

Defeat 30 ----> unlocks striker Krizalid

Defeat 40 ----> unlocks Stage of Korea

Defeat 50 ----> unlocks Stage of Japan

Defeat 60 ----> unlocks Stage of China

Defeat 70 ----> unlocks Stage of America

Defeat 80 ----> unlocks Stage of Brazil

Defeat 90 ----> unlocks Stage of Italy

Defeat 100 ----> unlocks Stage of Mexico

Defeat 110 ----> unlocks Stage of Zero

Defeat 120 ----> unlocks Stage of Igniz

Defeat 150 ----> Play as Zero

Defeat 200! ----> play as Igniz

uh yes, aside from party mode, you can unlock these too in 2000:



KOF 94 video ---> Play more than 10 hours of game play.

KOF 95 video ---> Get a 30 hit combo in Practice.

KOF 96 video ---> Set the life recover option to quick in practice mode and completely make your dummy's health go down.

KOF 97 video ---> Get 200 ability points in Single play.

KOF 98 video ---> Get 300 ability points in Team play.

KOF 99 video ---> Succesfully complete the game under the expert difficulty setting!



play as Zero (Team, Single, Versus & Practice) --->

Unlock all hidden Strikers in Party Mode. Hold Up+Square or Up+Circle and press X to select your primary character at the Order Select screen.
