A couple of weeks back I posted That I was going to be buying a new house and recreating my Neo Shrine. well After the usal Nightmare of closing I moved on April 6th. Since then I have Slooowly been moving over my stuff in a very choatic Manner ;) anyway Thought I would start a thread and give a week by week progress just to give everyone an idea.

here are the almost empty game room pictures

4-11

Game Room Front

you can see I have a lot of wall space there. Sure would be Nice to Hang Some Framed POSTER AFTER PAYING EXTRA POSTAGE TO HAVE THEM SHIPPED AND NEVER RECIEVING THEM FROM THE NEOSTORE  Rant over

Game Room Back

I am thinking about putting a bar in the corner there on the left.

Living Room

Ok FYI that is Utada Hikara singing "Wait and See" not a japanese Porn :) actually I got a good deal on the sofa and TV. My friends In-laws were moving back to Taiwan and it would cost big $$ to ship it over so the let me have it cheap, the stuff is only 1 year old. But the sofa is way big so I had to move it.

4-21

Game Room backright

ok I started to line my figures up on the display shelves. of course I moved several more things over I think I will stick that KOF98 banner on the wall space in the far left. That is my dog Tora

Game Room Front

more figures on the shelves and of course the moving diaster. Basically I am getting off work, swinging by my old place loading up my truck, moving stuff over then unpack Until I fall asleep. I bought some Bose am-15 to install but they are going in the living room.

Living Room

This is where I ended up putting my TV. although it is blocking a window (I Hate light anyway) the sofa fits better and there is a fireplace on the right it works well. now all I need is a place for my stereo. I am thinking about putting it somewhere else in the room, then punching holes in the wall to run the wires. I put the big naks in the alchoves.

4-29

Living room

not much done here I bought one of those Pop up coffee tables for $200 at Fingers Funiture. Thought it was Neato :p . still working in the game room and I am having trouble finding a stereo stand I like so I have not install the home theater yet.

Game room back

rearranged my movies. Have not decided on weather to keep the slots there or move them somewhere else and put a cab there. I am thinking of using the center to setup one 25" cab but still debating. could not move them over last weekend because of the rain

Game room Side

Bought a bookcase at walmart for $29 to put the mooks, NGfreak mags and laser discs in. also put up some stuff on the display shelf and hung a poster.

Game room Front

put up some figures and hung Lynn over the enterence to my house. rest is kinda of bare at the moment

hopefully this weekend I can move my 2 50" 4 25" and Hyper road edge over so I can see how to work them in.

5-9

well the weather has not corporated as of late but I was finally able to get some stuff done

Game room back

ok hung up the KOF 98 signs and wall mounted a poster. Plan is to mount the poster all they way around the inside on the angle. Also bought a stereo rack at Walmart again cost $78.

game room front

ok well I moved out the slots, I'm waiting on getting the rest of the cabs in soon, of course the floors are cleaner now but I still have a long way to go, also added the bookshelf from the old house.

More updates to come, if you really want to see them.

That should make an awesome game room - tons of space for some nice cabs and a few consoles. :buttrock: :buttrock: :buttrock:

Looks like you have a real nice house Big Bruno, It's gonna be great for the Neo, I can imagine huge Neo Posters, Cabs, ETC... Its gonna be great... Your coming along nicely with the Widescreen/NGCD... I also noticed a huge BOSE box, way to go, I use bose speakers here in my apartment...

I also know what you mean "the nightmare of closing" last year my family bought a new house and the whole closing/escrow deal was a major pain in the ass (waiting).

thanks,

Yes you did :) Actually I never get cable or sat. Mainly because I buy or rent all the movies I want to watch. there is a antenna in the attic though I will hook up to the tv once I run the cable to where the tv is.

I have 2 days off starting tomorrow so I should get a lot done. Planing on moving the cabs over Saturday. Then I will need to start repairing some of them.

You know, a meetup at Bruno's house would seriously be cool.... Bruno, maybe we can do this during the summer? I'll help you plan it.

I know he used to live in Friendswood, but I forget where he moved to. It's still not too far from H-town.

meetup

Not to sure... Summer would be a great time for me. School has been busy and life in general has been busy.

But, think about it... a summer meetup at Bruno's house, lasting from 10 A.M. to whenever... that, my friend, would be awesome.

I need to get in touch with Bruno himself and let him know what we're thinking :smirk:

Bruno has a massive collection. When myself, my brother, my friend, and beat_receptacle met up with him at the Stargate, he gave out some "extra stuff (he) had lying around"... and it was about two armfulls.

Yes, that is his stuff. He just has sooooo much stuff...

I sent him a PM, by the way.

READ OUR THREAD, BRUNO! :)

I could maybe meet up at the stargate before school is over, but I'm not 100% sure.

My house is messy, but I have about a month to clean it up...

I'd rather do this at Bruno's house, he has better TVs :D.

:)

if you want to do a meet up at my house that is ok. However it will have to be late summer like July. May and June I am doing alot of traveling.

Anyway it will probably take that long to get everything up, running and organized again.
