Does anyone like Galaxy Fight? I have had the game for about a week, and have only played it once for about 10 minutes. What a waste of money; I’m glad I got the CD not the cart. This game sucks….anyone disagree…if so why?

Galaxy Fight is a classic game. I wouldn't call it much of a fighter but it sure beats Fighter's History and Gowkaizer any day.

Sunsofts Waku Waku 7 was much better. This was a letdown....IMO...they could have done better. The characters lack personality.

I thought it was pretty good when it came out, and the graphics made an impact much in the way KOF '94's did not long before. I got to agree that it doesn't hold up as a very playable game now, though. On the other hand, I think that WW7 is completely overrated (it plays okay, but it can't compete with really any of the other fighters released in '96, like Real Bout, KOF '96, SS4, Kizuna, or even Ninja Master's) and is not any great amount better than GF. In fact, I probably prefer the graphic style of Galaxy Fight over it. This would probably go well in the 'unpopular opinions' thread.

Awhile back I had some friends over for a night of Neo Geo Fighting games on the Red Cab..(before I had the other Neo cabs)
I was putting in every fighter I had and getting opinions on how they liked the games..after they played against each other and myself.

They loved usual Favorites...But,they didn't like Galaxy Fight..They didn't hate it,they just didn't like it.
I'd say it was on the bottom of the list of Fighters they'd ever want to play again.

I remember them telling me.."Ok,..Take that one out"

Two of my friends did have a real decent battle going on in the game and were laughing a lot,So I could clearly see them having some enjoyment out of the game.(I sucked and got whooped)

Maybe if I didn't have other better fighting games to choose from they would of thought higher of Galaxy Fight.

It's different..and if you want something different this is it.

I'm not a fan of it though..

This game just doesn't have any real appeal to me. I was never able to play for very long like 15 min.

Glad I’m not the only one who feels this game is difficult.

Hmm - I do enjoy the game, Rolf is an excellent character to play if you know how to master him. Gameplay is very nice for a``95 fighter - its combo system is more developped than that of FF3 e.g. I especially like the rush-in combos

I can't stand the DBZ fighting style with no boundaries in the stages but except that, the game is average +.

The stage design to me is really impressive, especially with the looping backgrounds. Gameplay wise the game isn't fun in the least.

Doesn't help that the A.I. schools you like a bitch when you play single.

Yeah, I've owned that game for a couple of years and it isn't very nice...
Anyway, IMO, grafics are great and playing vs 2 player mode is much more fun that against the computer, which is completely frustrating...
Fighter's History on the other hand plays better IMO, although it's pretty ugly looking...

galxy fight is a classic
its unique and must be played in a completely different way than say,kof - aof - gekka - sf - whatever

the bgs are AMAZING

the characters are pretty cool

and its got GREAT animations

waku 7 on the other hand is one of the slowest, boring, useless, stiffiest fighting games i have ever played
