If any of you remember, I'm attempting to make a Puzzle Link clone/port. My goal is to try and "update" a few things while trying to be as accurate to the original as possible.
I've very limited skills as an artist, so I've fired up a vector drawing program so I can try and reuse and manipulate as many parts of the graphics as possible. And some of the artwork for the game seems to be very linear and defined. :P
Here's two of my better attempts at the "bunny" guy (these graphics will be croped and featured in that little box next to the playfied, don't have feet since they'll not be shown, and I can't find good examples of his feet. :P)
Here's one of the frames for the "happy"
Here's one from when you lose the game:
And, here's my attempt at the girl... Basing myself on the picture in the back of the instructions booklet and modifying it to be more like the pose she has in the intro (although the pose in the intro is done at an angle...)
Still needs work though...
Does any of the neo pocket emulators allow you to take quick successfive screen caps? I'd like to have good reference material available so I can try and reproduce the intro, menu screens, etc.
Thanks
(edit: title and minor changes)
