There are also Gamest mooks for Galaxy Fight and RB2. Those are the only ones I have that you didn't list; there may still be more.

Sorry, I forgot a couple. I have a Real Bout Fatal Fury mook for the PS port, and a full Gamest mook for RBS. It's still early here....

Cool, you have this mook?
Btw, is that a Sonic Wings 3 mook on this pic of your collection?

I'm asking, 'cause I've never seen one.

I'm sure your aware but wouldn't it be handy to note which games have multiple mooks. Like the KOF's have the "Technical Manual" mooks too on some of them. Maybe all of them I'm not sure.

That's a good idea. It would be more time consuming but I can do it...
There's also multiple guides for other games from different brands, including:

Gamest
ASCII Mooks
All About Mooks
Arcadia Mooks
Geibun Mooks

For the sake of those who (like me) collect heaps of Japanese guidebooks/mooks, could anyone adding a book title to this thread also include -- if possible -- the ISBN#? This is easier than asking for the full Japanese title, and allows for collectors like myself to quickly/easily double-check their collections to see if they already have a particular book or not.

Here's all of the NEO-related Shinseisha (the company that published Gamest) guidebook publications I own (IIRC, the yen prices in this list don't include the 5% Japanese sales tax). I cut'n'pasted these from my archived Dash Taisen files (my old fighting game site) -- I thought about just providing the titles & ISBN#s, but I figured a few folks here might find the other info useful. These are listed in chronological order, by release date (since that's the way they were organized on the Dash Taisen site).

There are 3 types of books on this list: Gamest Zoukan, Gamest Mook, and Gamest Mook / EX Series.

Gamest Zoukan
Individual issues of Gamest were identified in two ways: by date and by number. "Zoukan" is defined as "special number" -- as in a special number (or special issue) of a magazine run. Gamest Zoukan were special issues of Gamest, and were numbered in sequence with the "regular" issues of the magazine. The subscriptions to Gamest which most U.S. shops offered usually provided the subscriber with only the "regular" issues. One may notice, from time to time, that although the date indicators on two particular issues of Gamest may show that the issues were released "back to back," their numeric indicators seem to have "skipped" a number or two. This usually means that the missing number was a Gamest Zoukan. The majority of Gamest Zoukan were roughly the same size as "regular" issues of Gamest (8.25" x 10.25"), although a few (for example, Shiritsu Justice Gakuen Nek-ketsu-Tai-Zen, EHRGEIZ First Edition, and EHRGEIZ Final Edition) used a slightly smaller format (7.25" x 10.25").

Gamest Mook
With the success of its Gamest Zoukan publications, Shinseisha launched a new line of specialty books in November, 1995: the Gamest Mook series. In just 4 years, the series boasted nearly 200 volumes. Since Gamest Mooks were not Zoukan, they were not numbered in sequence with the "regular" issues of Gamest. Because of this, a subscription to Gamest obtained through a bookstore in the U.S. would not provide the subscriber with Gamest Mooks -- they had to be ordered as separate items, like Gamest Zoukan. Most Gamest Mooks were roughly the same size as "regular" issues of Gamest (8.25" x 10.25"). A few (such as Shiritsu Justice Gakuen Nek-ketsu-Tai-zen 2) used a slightly smaller format (7.25" x 10.25"), while several "illustration collection"-style volumes opted for a larger size (8.25" x 11.75"). The vast majority of Gamest Mooks concerned themselves with one specific game (compared to the 50% of Gamest Zoukan that focused on one game). Some games, in fact, received more than one Mook's worth of coverage. Virtua Fighter 2, Virtua Fighter 3, Tekken 2, and Tekken 3 were discussed in two or three Mooks each (labeled "ACT.1," "ACT.2," etc.). Other games (most notably The King of Fighters '95, KOF'96, KOF'97, KOF'98, Samurai Spirits Amakusa Kourin, Street Fighter III, and Vampire Savior) were dissected in two volumes: a "Graphical Manual" and a "Technical Manual." "Graphical Manuals" provided basic examinations of a game's System, Technique Guides for each Chara, and screenshots of most every image in the game, but only beginner- to intermediate-level strategic advice. "Technical Manuals" placed more emphasis on intermediate- to advanced-level tactics and strategy. Some of the games that underwent the "Graphical / Technical" treatment even received a third volume, referred to as a "Fan Book." "Fan Book" content included illustration collections (both professional- and fan-created), official game and Chara backstories, cosplay photo collections, and interviews with programmers and seiyuu. Finally, a few games (for example, Shiritsu Justice Gakuen and Bakumatsu Rouman: Gekka no Kenshi) even received both a Gamest Mook and a Gamest Zoukan.

Gamest Mook / EX Series
In September, 1995, Shinseisha began publication of a new magazine, Gamest EX. Gamest EX was intended to provide the same level of coverage of the home console video game scene that Gamest gave the arcade video game market. In keeping with the tradition of the Gamest Mook line, spun off from Gamest magazine, Gamest EX spawned a new series of Mooks dedicated to home console video games: the Gamest Mook / EX Series. In the 18 months that followed the release of EX Series Vol. 1 in January, 1996, the series grew to more than 80 volumes. Almost all volumes in the Gamest Mook / EX Series were printed in a standard, small size (6" x 8.25"). Two notable exceptions were Advanced V.G. 2 Graphical Manual (7.25" x 10.25") and Asuka 120% BURNING Fest. Illustrations Kouryaku & Settei Shiryoushuu (8.25" x 11.75"). Like Gamest Mooks, almost all books in the Gamest Mook / EX Series concentrated on a particular game. And like Gamest Mooks and Zoukan, Gamest Mook / EX Series volumes were not included in the price of a Gamest subscription -- they had to be ordered separately.

Anyway, here's the list (which I'll break up into several small posts, just to make it easier on anyone who wants to post a reply with quoted material):

Nope, 'cause it wasn't published by Shinseisha -- it was published by Geibunsha, the same company that published NEO-GEO FREAK magazine. Here's the info for the SW3 book in Fran's pic:

Only the one from Geibunsha. Also, don't forget the Gowcaizer mook.

Some games appear only in compilation guide books. I don't know how you might classify those here, or not. Such as this:

ncdcmd.jpg

devoting a section to World Heroes Perfect which does not have its own mook.
