Then again, most people think their stuff rocks the house, and that is not always true.

yes, i agree that wes' stuff is great...

but you dont need to be hard on those stuggling musicians, sure they are abit ambitious about thier work, but given constructive criticism, im sure they are gonna improve

take me for example... i play the guitar, bass and piano... and ive done SNK stuff (mainly samsho and kof themes), i know that they arent THE BEST, and saying stuff like "Who else around here plays SNK music that doesn't suck?" discouraged me on posting my work... upon what level do you mean "doesnt suck" and "sucks"

dont be mad or anything, im jsut makin a point

Please understand that "suckage" is an entirely aesthetic concept. Maybe it -was- a bit harsh, but understand that's only because I'm kind of a jerk. I appreciate any and all music, and if I can enjoy listening to Tim Rogers play the goddamned harmonica, I will love the hell out of whatever you chuck at me that vaguely resembles SNK music. ;P

Music is good. Show me.

Thanks. It's always cool hearing good feedback. I plan on getting off my lazy ass and finally completing Geese's theme here soon. I did an old version but it was all out of key and shit. Ronin did a cool excerpt of Bloody Tears though. I wish I could do midi stuff.

You're the only one of the musicians (or one of the few, whatever :P) whose work we can actively hear, and besides, it's not like you're bad. Shit, quite the opposite.

I just got the FFVI World of Balance theme. If it were complete, and you had the World of Ruin theme to go with it, I'd fuckin' buy an album. Noone gives FFVI the respect it deserves.

I always hear about SNK guitarists but it would be interesting to use SNK themes in House/Techno mixes. I know that sebleger (french member of this board) already did it with some KOF 98 themes but it would be great to see more and more songs like this.
