does it use a kick harness? i heard it uses five buttons so that's my guesss but I wanted confirmation. I am trying to make my SuperGun able to adapt to any PCB or harware and want to rest easy between now and whenever the price drops on that board.

No, it doesn't use a kick harness, the 4th and 5th buttons are in the JAMMA harness, in the same place as the MVS D and select buttons (pins 25 and 26). However it has an expansion slot where you could hook, if needed, other peripherals (guns, steering wheels, tracking balls...).
