Okay, I've been interested in programming for the neo for a while, but I can't find any solid information to get started.
I know about neobitz.com, but that site is pretty well deserted right now. I hope it takes off soon, but until then, can anyone help me get started?
I've done gameboy programming with Z80, I've done lots of PIC programming, and I've done some 6800 and X86 prgramming. I'm not some newb trying to make the next KOF.
I just think that, with SNK dropping the neo even though it's got a cult following like no other system, this is the perfect system for home brew games.
So, anyone got some commented example code? Maybe an explination of how the ROM chips are layed out? How about a tutorial where you get 'hello world' running?
anything?
