Hello people I am quite new to the Neo Geo scene. I have been collecting aes carts for about 6 months now and have about 30 or so carts.
I was wondering is their a tell-tell sign of telling if a neo geo aes cart is a conversion or the real deal?
I know you could open it up and you could tell from the soldering, but can a person tell just by looking at the cart, case, manual etc?
If so how?
Also if you put a converted game in a AES console, does the game have the display "insert coin" message, or just the normal "press start" message.
If these seem like stupid questions, please forgive me, as I am quite new to this scene.
Thanks for your help, you guys rock!
