I would like to start by apologizing to both Robert Wallace and Kenny Boy about some of the recent drama with regards to MVS consoles, mods and pricing. I took some shots at both of them a couple months ago in UI and they didn't really deserve it. I was wrong about what I said in the end. I really have no desire to be at ends with anyone and would like to apologize to them for my off colour comments. I suppose all of us that build consolized boards, superguns, mod consoles and other custom work need to realize that there is going to be others offering the same service at different prices. The market is plenty big enough to support several people selling these services and I think that 90% of the drama is bullshit that has no real substance.
Anyways, on to teh console!
I built this console for Saturn Gamer. He contacted me on this last year and its took me far too long to complete it. Originally I painted it gloss Royal Blue, but right before I assembled it I noticed a large chip in the paint. How it got there is anyones guess. So, I stripped it and repainted it Sun Yellow.
Pretty much standard stuff. The console has .5 inch aluminum standoffs that support it over top a quarter inch thick clear acrylic base plate.
Shot from behind. On the left is the 5 pin din inlet for the external PSU and the power switch. On the right hand side is stereo audio and S-video.
Up close shot of power section.
The audio and video area.
Also, the SGR is back up and running if you haven't noticed it yet. Currently my gallery software is a bit hosed so I can't add any more galleries at the moment. I am going to try and address this sometime soon when I have the time.
As always, comments are always welcome.
thx
