I've seen mention of this several times on the forum; however, I've yet to see a definitive answer.
My problem is this: I'm hearing what appears to be muffled/distorted music/fx, on the majority of levels of this cart.
It's a Japanese cartridge, playing on an (admittedly, quite old), Japanese NEO AES.
People have mentioned that this could be a case of a dud cart; or I simply need to clean my cartridge edge connectors.
With the cart warranty over, the latter's obviously the cheaper option for me.
Has anyone seen this problem before? If so, what did you do to fix it?
Any info greatly appreciated.
