Tattoo design request ~

I know this might sound weird, but well, I felt it would probably turn out to be something either funny or actually... productive.

Here's the things, I am about to get a tattoo, most likely to be on my back, near my neck or on an arm, but there isn't a design that I really like...

I am looking for something pretty "particular", I would like a clean design, maybe a little "minimalistic", no colors... regarding the style... hmmm... how should I put this... I liked P.N.03, REZ, TEXHNOLYZE... I like hexagons, it's pretty hard to explain, haha.

Well, if anyone is willing to help me with this I would really appreciate it.

since most tattoo artists are pretty fucking badass you might be able to just get like a 1" bar around your bicep. you could have it shaded to look like there are 6 points,so it would be like a hexagonal ring around your bicep. it could look really cool cuz the shape of your arm will lend to the shape of the hexagon and you could add lots of detail around the edges, etc.

I'd skip the arm part though, every douchbag out there has something going around their bicep. Stick with the back.

If you realy dont want to be like all the other "douchbags" then you need to get a tattoo on your face or maybe on your neck. seriously if you get one make sure its not something that will go out of style for instance a bands name or some shit. I once saw a guy with RATT tattoed on his arm (Ratt is a cheesy hair metal band) it might have been cool in the 80's but it is now officially teh gay.

I'm just saying the arm thing is way played out, the side of the neck is getting out of controll now too.

I know having one on an arm would be too typical, I would like on the back/neck, but I won't discard the possibility of getting one on an arm.

snesaes, yes, Capcom's Product Number 03. It was mainly to show what kind of "style" I like.

Take your time, theres no rush. Your gonna have this on you for the rest of your life. I looked up and down for 2 years before i found what i was lookn for. I like you, knew generally what i wanted but couldn't necessarily find it right off. I too put it on my back because i don't feel the need to share it w/ all humanity. Good luck w/ your search and i'll try to keep my eye out for unique hexagonal art forms/shape/stlye.

got a couple of tattoos over the years. my first was 10 years ago when I was 17 - before the tattoo boom - a time when tribal tats where stiller fresh. The geezer who done my first had also done a couple of members from Obituary which I was listening to at the time, which was cool.

got a bit carried away. I know what you mean about the style. If I had the guts though, I would get something done on my wrist, but I'm a chicken. There is one video game related tattoo art which I think is amazing - if I find it on the net I will point it out to you.

Personally i wouldnt get one unless it really means something to you.

I spent 2-3 years designing and thinking about my tattoo.

I have a celtic band around my bicep (yes, i'm irish) that i designed myself using family crests, etc. I even incorporated some of the art from my family's hometown of County Cork Ireland into the design.

My advice: Make sure whatever u get has some kind of meaning.

Im totally happy with mine, but wonder how in the hell people can just walk in a tat parlor and pick some cheesy daffy duck off the wall and get it inked on their arm with no regrets later.
