purchased less than a year ago, comes with software disc & original packaging. used ONCE......i hooked it up to my PC and used it once, then removed it to replace it with the original DVD ROM drive that came in it in order to sell it. still works and needs a good home (i now have a laptop and have no need for it). paid around $175 originally. drive will record in these modes: DVD-R/RW & CD-R/RW and will read in these modes: DVD-R/RW/RAM, CD-R/RW and last but not least DVD ROM. (not sure if it plays VCD or records in DVD-RAM). any questions, fell free to pm me.
