Just making sure that this guy at GameCrazy was wrong about SVCC on USA PS2...

I was at GameCrazy the other day, and the guy told me that they had a tournament the other day... and that one of the games was PS2's SVC Chaos.

Of course I immediately asked him all I could, and he answered that it was not the JPN version, it was not played on a modded PS2 (it was one of their own), and not a burn; it was an English version. He said it did indeed come out to the USA but in very limited stock.

I was skeptical, but I'm still puzzled... is that Korean or whatever version able to be played on a non-modded PS2? Maybe he thought that was the English version...


Thanks in advance. Those losers didn't tell me about the tourney (they all know there how into the Neo I am), just cause I won't pay $20 for their ripoff card...

That'd be freaking hilarious! If stupid GAME STOP, the enemy of all that is good and decent in gaming, knew about a U.S. version of SNK vs. Capcom before the Neo Forums! Think about how silly that sounds.

Seeing as the average person who works in a chain gaming store is very ignorant to the avid 2D gaming scene, I think the most likely answer is that he was thinking of Capcom vs. SNK 2.

Yeah, I seriously doubt that this one slipped through the cracks.
