April 08, 2004 - New, original features are going to be included in the PS2 version of Samurai Shodown V (Samurai Spirits Zero in Japan), Japanese sources reveal. Apparently, SNK Playmore plans to make the computer-only characters from the arcade version playable in the home version and also plans on adding an original story to the game.

We would've picked up the game anyway, but these new features has us even more excited now. A Japanese release date for Samurai Spirits Zero is set for 6/24.

If the story was done well, that alone could make this very attractive. If only I didn't despise playing my Neo games on optical media ....

ah, but with most CD NEO games come the arranged tracks my friend...

but I did make the error of referencing NEO CD games in my first post as opposed to more modern PORTS...silly me

Yea, got to agree. KOF EVO for DC == the shit. If you haven't played it you are missing out big time. Would only cost you ~$50 to get bot the disk and the DC if you shop around too....

EVO has many system issues to accompany certain changes.
