First of all I'd like to thank you all for allowing me the ability to exercize the First Amendment.
I've "visited" the site and forum for a good number of years and read all things that you all have said about many subjects, making valid points and flaming those who'd dare have anything "obscure" to say about the NEO-GEO.
I am he who is "Beloved by Gaia" and like you all I have grown WITH the Neo as well as played it. Hell, I was enthused since playing Fatal Fury for the first time. Being 10 years old then I didn't think that close to a thousand dollars for a system and some cartridges was alot of money for something of that hobby...hell its better than drugs. Here it is now...after traveling to many arcades (only cause this FORSAKEN city only carry Blamco games in their arcade) that I finally have the chance to buy my first NEO at the age of 22....I'm 23 now, plus a few classics like SamSho 2, Fatal Fury 2, and World Heroes 2 came along with it.
One thing has summoned me from my slumber and its thsi abomination called the AW. Now Now I knwo know that I shouldn't just blast it so fast. Listen guys I'm what's called a "ThroBack" gamer. The shear quality and gameplay of the games with the NEO-GEO logog on it....NOTHING...NOTHING ON THIS PLANET CAN BEAT IT!! Thats why I plan to STICK by my NEO! It was said that the NEO was dead before and now its dead again? Naaahh...I won't believe it till I see a violet....blue....err..grey pillar or energy incinerating my NG and the last thing I see is a skull laughin at me. Sorry for Ramblin but...After all the PS's, XBox's, and Indendo's...all those who grew up in arcades can always come back to SNK for their gaming bliss.
Till I've been summoned again....thanx for your time mortals.
