Strikers 1945 cart question

I bought one of the strikers kits from neo-geo.com.

Upon closer inspection of the circuit board (I could see through the see-through green casing) the date of the board is 1994.

Is this normal?

as long as it is legit chips... i dont see any problems

I have a strikers mvs cart it displays the year 1994 too on one of the boards
my cart is official I believe this is perfectly normal
