Ok, I was planning on getting a neo geo CD, but I went into the chat room last night and was convinced that a MVS system was the way to go. My question now is, where can I buy a super-gun? I def. can't afford a 500 dollar cabinet (and I have a 70 inch TV I could run the super-gun through) but I can't seem to find any for sale online. Ton's of MVS games for sale on ebay but no way to play them. Any help would be appreciated.

Buy a Super Nova from Mass Systems.

There is also the HGA from GW Trading... but I hear it is a POS

There are more available and some Japanese ones like the Sigma 6000.. also ask Winston here on the boards about a super gun. You can check his website...

Thanks for the help. I didn't realize that it would cost me 300 bucks just for a super gun. Maybe the CD is the way to go? Do you know if that super-gun include the motherboard or would I need to buy that seperatly?

To all of you..

Yes it is good, and runs on a normal TV A/V and S-Video.

Yes it plays all Jamma PCB, and MVS (with the 1,2,4,6 slot pcb) ^_^. Everything you need is included (*EXCEPT the MVS pcb mentioned.. you have to purchase it seperately!). The controls are smooth too.

As for getting in touch with them....wellllll, e-mailing them is pointless. Call them, it's the best way.

Glad to help!

PCB = Printed Circuit Board

You need a motherboard to fit the MVS carts into (just like you need a n64 to put n64 carts in). The motherboard connects to the jamma harness on the supergun. When you see it, it will make perfect sense to you, don't worry about that. I got my one slot motherboard for 60$.

You don't need a Super Gun... all you need is a
MVS 1 slot board(PCB),A Super Jamma Harness,Power supply(PC or Arcade),a Home system joystick and an RGB to NTSC converter. About $250 for everything MAXX.

Yeah, making your own supergun is the cheapest way to go.

Remembre to check me out, have used supergun from US$200 onward....supergun kit(All need component) including Video Encoder and PSU for US$150. Video encoder come with S0vdeo out and RGB gain control, Pal/NTSC selection, not a homemake but a commercial version.

How much do your RGB to NTSC converters cost. I was toying with the idea of building one like Jhendrix but how much would I really save doing it myself??
