CDZ general questions

Hi!

This is my first posting, so don't be too strict with me.

I got 2 questions about the double speed Neo Geo CD Systems.

1. Is there any negative point about the double Speed?
I've heard the System is a little bit more unstably than the normal one.

2. On an japanese CDZ, is it possible to play US games with english language?
I know that this works with the AES, but I don't if it works with the CD-Systems too.
