Incredibly cool and sought after software package allowing you to play 140 Neo Geo AES games on your PC.
Includes Neo Geo emulator that perfectly emulates the Neo Geo AES of old, allowing you to re-live old memories at a fraction of the cost of the real thing!
If you are thinking of buying new NEO GEO cartridge, check that you like the game on here before you buy - it could save you a fortune if you don't like that game after all!
There were approx 150 NEO GEO carts in total and on this package you have 140 ROMS and yes, they are the full versions of the game with no limits. Full graphics, sound and joypad support is also there! All games come up in a graphical menu and you just select and play...it could not be easier!
There is no messy install either - you can just play direct from disk or just copy the disk to a folder on your hard drive - real 'open up and play!'
Best fun you'll have on your PC!
Total of 140 ROMS including such games as Last Resort, Top Hunter, All the Metal Slug and King Of Fighter games (up to KOF 2000) League Bowling, Cyberlip, World Heroes 2, Waku Waku Blah Blah - All the rare ones are there!
This is a nicely presented 2 disk set.

Copyright Protection Exemption Granted to Obsolete Videogames
Quote: "In response to a filing by Brewster Kahle of The Internet Archive, Lawrence Lessig of Creative Commons, and others, the Librarian of Congress granted exemptions from copyright protection measures in the Digital Millennium Copyright Act to obsolete videogames. The exemption applies to games that require the original media or hardware as a condition of access, and it determines a format obsolete "if the machine or system necessary to render perceptible a work stored in that format is no longer manufactured or is no longer reasonably available in the commercial marketplace."
According to the original filing, the exemption was proposed in order to migrate degraded and obsolete works to modern storage systems, and enable "archiving, future scholarship, and commentary." On October 28, 2003, the Librarian of Congress, on the recommendation of the Register of Copyrights, announced the classes of works subject to the exemption from the prohibition against circumvention of technological measures that control access to copyrighted works. The four classes of works exempted are:
**about ROMS**(3) Computer programs and video games distributed in formats that have become obsolete and which require the original media or hardware as a condition of access. A format shall be considered obsolete if the machine or system necessary to render perceptible a work stored in that format is no longer manufactured or is no longer reasonably available in the commercial marketplace.
