It's true what they say about timing being everything I guess...
after the recent thread about the new "Batmobile on steroids" being used for the filming of the latest movie, I happen to visit my local comic store this morning and the owner points me and my bro to the TV screen where they happen to be playing a short fan-made film directed by SANDY COLLORA ...
and I was absolutely BLOWN AWAY.
This film was apparently made on a budget of $30,000 and makes me hope that the big movie companies are paying attention...THIS is how a comic is supposed to be brought to film...
but don't take my word for it,
SEE FOR YOURSELF
so has anyone else heard of this film? any comments? questions?

Its really good stuff. My favorite visual? After Bats lands in the alleyway and stands, his cape making him look like he's emerging from the shadowy ground. So sweet.
It was alright. There were some really good shots in the film, but the acting was terrible. The bat suit was awful, but the predator was well done. The alien was very similar to the suits used in the first Alien. Overall I give it a half a thumb up.
